Question 1

How do I find local businesses without websites?

Accepted Answer

Enter a business type (like roofers, plumbers, or restaurants) and a location into the WebScoutz search bar. The tool scans the area and returns nearby businesses with their website status, a lead score, and contact details, all in seconds.

Question 2

Who is WebScoutz built for?

Accepted Answer

Freelance web designers and agencies that sell websites to local businesses. Instead of a generic lead database, WebScoutz focuses on the one signal that matters most, whether a business has a website, so you spend your time on prospects who actually need you.

Question 3

How does WebScoutz verify that a business has no website?

Accepted Answer

With a subscription, every 'no website' result is cross-checked by a secondary AI web search that looks for a dedicated domain. Facebook pages, Instagram profiles, Yelp listings, and other directory profiles do not count as websites. If only directory listings are found, the business stays classified as 'no website.' If no information is found at all, it's marked 'status uncertain.' During the free trial you see the status found in public map data.

Question 4

How much does WebScoutz cost?

Accepted Answer

Every account starts with a 3-day free trial, no credit card required. After that, choose $9.99 per month or $29.99 per year (about $2.50 a month). Both bundles include unlimited searches, lead scoring, the CRM pipeline, and CSV export. Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law, and you can cancel any time to stop future renewals.

Question 5

Can I save and track the leads I find?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Save any business to your personal lead list, organize them through a drag-and-drop pipeline (New → Contacted → Meeting → Proposal → Sold), add notes, update statuses, and export everything to CSV for your CRM.

Question 6

What types of businesses can I search for?

Accepted Answer

Any local category: roofers, plumbers, electricians, restaurants, dentists, salons, auto repair, and many more. Listings come from OpenStreetMap, so coverage and contact details vary by area.

Question 7

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. WebScoutz runs entirely in your browser. Search from any device, save leads, and manage your pipeline online, with no downloads required.
